The Salmon River's prized resident.

Experience the thrill of Steelhead fishing on the renowned Salmon River during its captivating fall and spring seasons! Spanning from mid-October to mid-November in the fall (subject to ice conditions) and recommencing from mid-February (depending on ice melt), our pristine waters offer enthusiasts an unmatched angling adventure.

While both fly fishing and back trolling are available, our expertise leans toward back trolling as the preferred method, known for its higher success rate in hooking these prized Steelhead. Our guides are adept at both techniques, yet the effectiveness of back trolling often leads to more rewarding catches. At times, we take the opportunity to wade into the river for an even more immersive experience, targeting the perfect runs.

Join us in the heart of the Salmon River, where each outing holds the promise of landing these prized trophy fish. Our drift boats, equipped with heaters, ensure comfort even in cooler weather conditions. Plus, indulge in a fisherman-sized lunch expertly prepared to keep you energized throughout the day.

Book your trip now and embark on an angling expedition like no other, mastering the art of Steelhead fishing amidst the breathtaking backdrop of the Salmon River!

Rates: $580 per boat (two people per boat). Lunch included. Idaho fishing license not included.
