Meet the Team
The People Behind The Experience
Behind every great day on the river is a team that knows it inside and out. Our guides and staff bring years of experience, a deep respect for the outdoors, and a genuine passion for what they do. From navigating the water to preparing meals and setting up camp, every detail is handled with care so you can focus on enjoying the adventure.

Dane Cook
I moved to Idaho back in 1990 to start what turned out to be a 30+ year career with the Idaho Department of Fish and Game. In 2000, my family and I moved to Salmon. We really like the area and this part of Idaho. I started my guiding career after I retired from the fish and game. With the help of some friends, I got started with a local outfitter doing whitewater and fishing trips here in the Salmon area. I really enjoy doing trips with guests whether it’s half-day scenic, summer trout fishing, fall and spring steelhead or the classic whitewater trips. The really cool part of this job is realizing that I see this area all the time, but watching the “river” experience play out for someone who’s not from this area is pretty special.

Gina
Howdy! I’m Gina. After growing up in Pennsylvania, I moved to Idaho in 2024. I’ve spent the last two years as a Lift Operations Manager for a ski resort. I traded the slopes for a new path in the Salmon area. While I love skiing, I’ve decided to follow my heart toward two of my passions..spending time on the water and experimenting with new recipes in the kitchen. I feel at home in the outdoors whether I’m hunting in the backcountry, enjoying the water or camping on the river.
I’m a firm believer that the best conversations happen over a great meal. I cannot wait to create a great experience for you this summer!

Nate Mcwhorter
I grew up in Olympia, Washington, where I spent most of my time outdoors chasing trout, bass, salmon, and steelhead. While I enjoy all types of fishing, my passion has always been for anadromous fish and the rivers they call home. Years of exploring rivers throughout the Pacific Northwest helped develop both my fishing skills and my appreciation for wild places.
When I’m not on the water fishing, you’ll usually find me running whitewater rivers or skiing in the mountains during the winter. I love sharing my enthusiasm for fishing, rafting, and the outdoors with others and helping guests create memorable experiences on the water. Whether it’s your first trip or you’re a seasoned angler or paddler, I’m excited to help you enjoy everything our rivers have to offer.
